The Day Party

The Day Party
What they mean when they talk about;
The American Dream
A warm sunny day, your friends, a cold beverage, and some good music is all you need to Darty.

And for those those that don't know..
Darty = Day + Party
Dage= Day + Rage

boom.

Dartying is the epitome of Spring Fever.
Like Today for example. Finals are here and we all should be in the library. But Coast Guard was last night and everyone woke up to a beautiful day. Thanks to some of last nights alcohol still in your system, your best reasoning decides the only to spend the day is daging. Cause, I mean, afterall..
"That final isn't until monday, right?"

I think my phone is ringing right now...

"Hello?"
"What are you doing?"
"About to head to the library.."
"Nope, Greene Lane Block Party"
"Oh."
"Yeah, that's what I thought. See you in 30."
"Dageeeeeeeeee."

It's That Time Again

Coast Guard House

My Coast Guard obsession began during the Fall of 2010.
It gave my friends and I the best of times and the worst of times, which often turned out to still be the best of times.

Coast Guard House has an uncanny ability to cater to whatever you're feeling that night.
If you're opting for a chill evening, you can spend your night on the deck enjoying drinks & casual conversation with your friends...

But if you're in the mood to rage all night the Anchor Room can definitely give you that.

When it closed for the season in October a serious void was left in all of our hearts.
We lived for the nights running through the streets of the Pier,
bouncing from house to house during the before & after hours of CGH

Thankfully it's that time of year again;
Let's bring it back to the Coast Guard House

See you tonight, old friend.

I'm so excited, I'm shocked I can type..

DAYGLOW hit Providence

The World's Largest Paint Party hit America's Smallest State

The two-day Sold Out event was heavily anticipated from the beginning of last semester. Starting in October there was so much word of mouth about it hitting Rhode Island, people were ecstatic. Then we heard it wasn't coming to Rhode Island anymore and was heading right past us to UMass Amhearst. But thankfully a few days later our name was re-added to the list and it was official.
Immediately Facebook & Twitter blew up with statuses galore about it. The day tickets went on sale people woke up at the crack of dawn to order their tickets online.

Incase you live under a rock, let me give you a brief rundown. It's unreal.
People dressed in all white, if they opt to wear clothing at all, and whip and flail paint at your friends and random strangers while simultaneously raging your face off to House music.
I can't give any more detail than that because it's truly something you need to experience for yourself.

 It's the kind of thing you saw in a PG-13 movie during the 90's and thought to yourself,
"I wanna doooo that."

If you're local to NYC, DayGlow tour is hitting Hammerstein Ballroom May 26th
