So Tiesto is coming tomorrow

And my question is, are we even Fu*king ready?

Because I really don't think we are.
And not only do i think we aren't ready, I don't think the school is ready.
Like, what even is the campus staff/facility/whoever going to to do
when they have upwards to 5,000 students just rolling around campus?!

Last year for the Wiz Khalifa concert, I joked about how many people were going to end up in the hospital. But with Tiesto we are now on totally different spectrums of epic.

And it isn't even because Tiesto is so good
(because from a personal stand point he isn't all that live
It's only because everyone is like,
"Oh my god Tiesto is in fucking Rhode Island!
Lets consume massive amounts of everything & just see how out of hand it can possibly get."
Which I am all for, don't get me wrong...

So while you're anxiously awaiting tomorrow check out the video below from the first show of Tiesto's College Invasion Tour at Syracuse

So get your neon ready & I'll see you tomorrow night.
FYI: I will be ready equip to video..Leggo

Now gimme that Porter Robinson..

Wednesday, Wednesday, Everybody Loves Wednesday

"Get Your Clam Jammed"   "Getting my Clam Jammed so hard later"  "Jamming Clams Tonight!"

So incase you were absent from Facebook today, let me clue you in.
This Hump Day everyones getting their Clam Jammed
..dirty

CLAM JAMMERS
(A taste of last week)

Last week's Clam Jammers' was rowdy as hell. And hot as it too.
The bar was packed, girls were dancing on tables all over, the dance floor was wild,
and DJ RT & RJ were killing it.
So basically it was the way we like it.

My only complaint (aside from the fact that it reeks like raw dirty fish over there) was that getting a drink took about an hour. But the word is that they're opening up other bar & sticking another beer girl somewhere. So now it will only take you like a half hour to get a drink.

So get yourself down to Galilee and don't leave your Pre-game too late or you will be standing outside breathing in that clam jammed air.
yumm..

To take videos tonight, or not to take videos tonight? That is the question..

Welcome Back

It's official; School is back in session.

And so are the parties. I don't know about you guy's but my weekend was a blur. I think my last solid memory from Friday night was cutting about 40 people to get into Coast Guard House. Kind of felt bad, but not really. I wonder if it is just CGH that is cracking down on ID's, or if it's going to be every bar. Either or, it may not be such a bad thing because the bouncers are being more selective about who they are letting in. Separating the Grenades from the Bombshells, if you will..

(couldn't function behind a camera this weekend. i'll be more diligent this week)

As the first post of the Semester I want to keep it short and sweet and just say overall,
I'm feeling good vibes for Fall 2011.
The bar line-up seems to have expanded past Rhody Joe's (hallelujah) & we have some pretty sick houses on the map.

Just as a little something to think about while you're in class this week..
This coming Saturday is the return of Red Stripe..
Post Coming Soon...

Let's Recap On..

The 4th of July
Hello, Good morning.

Now, if you were on BLOCK ISLAND, for the 4th of July then you already know..
Or, you don't know because you blacked out on the ferry.
Regardless, let's break it down.

And that was only just the ferry. Cause let's be honest, the survival rate of my camera on the beach is not high. I was either going to drop it, break it, or it was going in the ocean. I opted for D. None of the above and kept its in it's case.

But to sum it up, shit was sloppy. What else can you expect when bottles of champagne (as shown above) are being chugged at 10am? Not to mention there was a bar ON the ferry. Talk about genius.

America, baby.
Only the Strong Survive.

If you didn't protect your cooler, you we're screwed. And if you took beer from anyone elses cooler, you were even more screwed. Ask the chick who tried to steal out of my friends cooler.
She did not have as great of a day as everyone else.
(she got kicked in the face and ate sand, then came back for Round 2 and tripped over herself to eat some more sand).

But by far, the best part of the day was when some drunk lady was strolling down the beach yelling
"THIS IS NOT THE JERSEY SHORE! Go Home!"

Not that far off if you ask me..

The Day Party

The Day Party
What they mean when they talk about;
The American Dream
A warm sunny day, your friends, a cold beverage, and some good music is all you need to Darty.

And for those those that don't know..
Darty = Day + Party
Dage= Day + Rage

boom.

Dartying is the epitome of Spring Fever.
Like Today for example. Finals are here and we all should be in the library. But Coast Guard was last night and everyone woke up to a beautiful day. Thanks to some of last nights alcohol still in your system, your best reasoning decides the only to spend the day is daging. Cause, I mean, afterall..
"That final isn't until monday, right?"

I think my phone is ringing right now...

"Hello?"
"What are you doing?"
"About to head to the library.."
"Nope, Greene Lane Block Party"
"Oh."
"Yeah, that's what I thought. See you in 30."
"Dageeeeeeeeee."

It's That Time Again

Coast Guard House

My Coast Guard obsession began during the Fall of 2010.
It gave my friends and I the best of times and the worst of times, which often turned out to still be the best of times.

Coast Guard House has an uncanny ability to cater to whatever you're feeling that night.
If you're opting for a chill evening, you can spend your night on the deck enjoying drinks & casual conversation with your friends...

But if you're in the mood to rage all night the Anchor Room can definitely give you that.
(Example A)

When it closed for the season in October a serious void was left in all of our hearts.
We lived for the nights running through the streets of the Pier,
bouncing from house to house during the before & after hours of CGH

Thankfully it's that time of year again;
Let's bring it back to the Coast Guard House

See you tonight, old friend.

I'm so excited, I'm shocked I can type..

DAYGLOW hit Providence

The World's Largest Paint Party hit America's Smallest State

The two-day Sold Out event was heavily anticipated from the beginning of last semester. Starting in October there was so much word of mouth about it hitting Rhode Island, people were ecstatic. Then we heard it wasn't coming to Rhode Island anymore and was heading right past us to UMass Amhearst. But thankfully a few days later our name was re-added to the list and it was official.
Immediately Facebook & Twitter blew up with statuses galore about it. The day tickets went on sale people woke up at the crack of dawn to order their tickets online.

Incase you live under a rock, let me give you a brief rundown. It's unreal.
People dressed in all white, if they opt to wear clothing at all, and whip and flail paint at your friends and random strangers while simultaneously raging your face off to House music.
I can't give any more detail than that because it's truly something you need to experience for yourself.

It's the kind of thing you saw in a PG-13 movie during the 90's and thought to yourself,
"I wanna doooo that."

If you're local to NYC, DayGlow tour is hitting Hammerstein Ballroom May 26th
